You want to know what it looks like for a nation to be starved of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ for decades?
We are witnessing it right now in America. đź’”
So much hatred and violence toward fellow man. So much strife and division in our land. Stone cold and bitter hearts towards anyone who is different than us.
Prosperity?
Best life now?
Signs and wonders and physical healing?
Working and striving in good works and obedience to earn forgiveness and get to heaven?
Social justice?
No. No. NO!
None of that is the answer!
Adding to the message of the cross and the forgiveness, redemption, and justification before a Holy and righteous God through faith alone in Christ alone makes it “another gospel!”
Foolish, America! Who has bewitched you??
LORD, have mercy on us! Stir our hearts to forsake “the American gospel” and preach Your truth once again on this soil! 🙏🏻
“Now I make known to you, brethren, THE GOSPEL which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, BY WHICH YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,”
â€1 Corinthians‬ â€15:1-4‬, â€NASB‬‬
The supreme demonstration of God’s provision for sinful humanity is seen in the death and resurrection of Jesus.
You must become born again (John 3:3)!
Such internal transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit results in a new life conforming to Christ’s character. Once a person believes the Gospel and trusts in Christ for their righteousness, the Spirit is given by God to indwell and empower the Christian to reflect more closely the character of our Savior (Galatians 5:22–23).
Human effort will not transform the heart of the sinner.
Only God can change a hard heart of stone and make it a heart of flesh and that, my friends, is only done through the power found in acknowledging their need of a Savior from their wretched sin and believing the Gospel that truly saves!

Jesus, give us the boldness to proclaim it! 🙏🏻
“For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.”
Romans 5:6-11, NASB
“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!””
Romans 10:12-15, NASB
Heyyy….I watched your interview talking ABT Joyce Meyer …I lovedddd Joyce and somehow I also noticed the doctrine was not biblical n I stopped but I didn’t know it was that big…I have been in this search of truth n I’m glad you said you are Methodist now I beleive ..our only difference is that for me I could not take one commandment and scrap it out so I was convicted about seventh day Adventist because of my study of the ten commandments written by God’s hand that shook me….I love your work, may God richly bless you.i would rather have Jesus too…
Thank you. Actually, I think you may have misunderstood my testimony, I first heard the gospel through a Methodist ministry, but I am no longer Methodist…too liberal of a denomination and they are straying from the Bible, sadly. We attend a Reformed Baptist church now.
Hello Masseys! Issued in love … one correction on the United Methodist Church. “They” are not all liberal and “they” have not all strayed from the Bible. Please be careful about making generalized statements about the United Methodist Church … without research. Such careless actions could diminish your impact, in my opinion. Many United Methodists, like my husband and me, have never parted from our traditional faith or our church. We, like so many Christians, have endured a miserable struggle within our denomination. Still, we remain members of the United Methodist Church. And, most importantly, we believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in the sanctity of the Bible, His Holy Word. Please read up a bit on the traditional, Methodist organizations that have emerged – to understand that – while a large number of progressive members have made a stir – to force the entire denomination to become liberal – the worldwide Methodists are in the majority in standing our ground for Truth. I will suggest the Wesleyan Covenant Association, for one, for further information on the status of traditional Methodism. After nearly a half-century of divisive positions, an “Amicable Separation” plan was scheduled to be voted on in May 2020. Due to the impact of Covid-19, the next (global) General Conference was postponed to 2021. I fully support the likely split and will look forward to putting the controversy in the rear view. Maybe then, the world will realize that the majority of Methodists around the world are remaining true to our Christian faith. We are moving forward in love. May God continue to bless your ministry!
With all due respect, I do not see where that is mentioned in this particular blog post…I am assuming it comes from my BRIEF mention of my experience in a UMC church in high school. In my opinion, you are looking a little too much into the very few words spoken in our interview regarding my personal experience. Sadly, we are seeing many churches in the UMC straying left. The news just released yesterday that the UMC (https://www.umc.org/en/content/deconstructing-white-privilege-gcorr) is linking arms with the secular author of “White Fragility” to produce short films for the UMC as a whole…pushing the social justice gospel agenda. I know there are true and sincere believers in ALL denominations, but when you continually hear of UMC churches embracing liberal ideologies, I believe it is important to address those observations. And no, I do not believe that everyone in the UMC is liberal, just like I do not believe every believer in the charismatic movement is not a Christian/saved at all. My experience in the UMC was liberal (which is what I discuss in the interview): our pastor was a woman, which is unBiblical, and sadly, certain UMC churches are flirting with homosexual marriage and homosexual clergy and now we see (on the official UMC website) that they are embracing the social justice gospel with making these films on “White Fragility,” which distorts the true gospel- pitting whites AGAINST whites. The cross made us one in Christ…and our skin color has no place in the Gospel message. Thank you for your comment, but I do believe you have made assumptions about my very brief (personal) statements about the UMC in our 1.5 hour interview and I stand by my observations that are currently happening in many UMC churches. -Emily
