‘Breaking Up with Word of Faith’- Our Follow-Up Interview with Doreen Virtue

Posted on September 7, 2020April 6, 2021

At the end of June, we sat down (via Zoom) and chatted with Doreen Virtue once again to discuss all that the Lord has been doing since our initial interview released in November 2019.

Like we shared in our previous post, we were blown away by the response that we received from literally all over the world. So many people’s lives have been negatively impacted by the Word of Faith/New Apostolic Reformation/Hypercharismatic Movements, and we want nothing more than to help others start their journey to discovering the answers and the healing that their hearts are so eagerly to receive.

In addition to giving a brief update with our (unexpected) ministry, we discuss some common responses and criticisms we receive regarding Joyce specifically, as well as reacurring questions regarding Bible translations and where to look for a solid church.

<We have put together a resource page with all of that info (AND MORE!) that we pray is helpful on your journey>

We also discuss that what was even more alarming to us is that 95% of the mail we have received (and continue to receive) has come from women. This has opened our eyes to the stark reality that women are desperately in need of sound theology.

Satan has continued his same tactics from the Garden of Eden to deceive the daughters of Eve. Emily and Doreen spend some time expanding upon that topic in this interview.

Instead of lush, green pastures, so many of God’s precious sheep are settling for AstroTurf!

Check out our newest interview and let us know your thoughts!

As always, we want to thank you all for your prayers and support as we continue our mission to help those entangled in deception find their way out of the trap, break up with bad doctrine once and for all, and point them to truth that brings total freedom!

SOLI DEO GLORIA,

Paul & Emily

I am so thankful for this ministry because I never knew there were these Hypercharismatic movements till a couple months ago. The Word of Faith movement needs to be uncovered for what it really is, a scam that drags in millions. It’s time that we learn what the truth is and that the gospel of Christ will shine through! It’s time for us to rise up and live for Christ!

Hi I’m Rebecca. This being revealed as well as the ‘Christian’ artists that I’ve been listening to on my school bus (my mission field) has hit me like a ton of bricks. I’m lost as to what music to play. It’s so overwhelming. All the speakers. And from the names I’ve grasped, they all speak about false prophets which is good but I need to listen to music. The ol’ time gospels I guess. I need edifying and currently finding a church home. I’m scared now. Not scared but very aware. I spend time with God every morning and through out the day, I’ve been convicted of all this by a complete stranger but it got through. I know it’s only Jesus that is my treasure! Thanks, love in Christ, Rebecca.
